1. Introduction

JustDance is an AI Dance Video Generator that turns text, photos, and videos into AI-generated dance clips (the "Service"), available at justdance.cc. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use and share it, and the choices and rights you have.

We follow a data-minimization approach: we collect only what we need to operate the Service, process your generations, and keep your account secure. By using the Service, you agree to the practices described here.

2. Information We Collect

Depending on how you use the Service, we may process the following categories of information:

• Account information — your name, email address, profile image, and authentication details. If you sign in with Google or GitHub, we receive basic profile information from that provider. If you register with an email and password, we store your password only in hashed form; we never store it in plain text.
• Generation content — the text prompts you enter, the photos and videos you upload, the settings you choose, the videos generated for you, and your generation history. This is the core information needed to create your dance videos.
• Billing information — your plan, orders, credit balance, transaction records, and subscription status. Payments are processed by our third-party payment providers; we do not receive or store your full payment card number.
• Technical and usage information — IP address, browser and device information, language/locale preference, session data, referral or acquisition source (UTM), and security and anti-abuse signals.
• Cookies and similar technologies — used for authentication, session management, security, and remembering your preferences. See Section 10.

3. How We Use Your Information

We use the information above to:

• Provide the Service, including generating your dance videos and maintaining your generation history and assets;
• Create and secure your account, authenticate you, and support account recovery;
• Process orders, subscriptions, credits, refunds, and related customer support;
• Grant promotional credits (for example, sign-up credits and daily-login credits);
• Maintain and improve service quality, debug issues, and prevent fraud, abuse, and other harmful activity;
• Comply with legal obligations and enforce our Terms of Service.

4. AI Processing and Third-Party Model Providers

To generate your videos, the Service sends your prompts and uploaded photos or videos to third-party AI model providers that run the underlying generation models. These providers currently include ByteDance (Doubao / Seedance models) and MiniMax (Hailuo models), as well as supporting AI infrastructure partners. Your content is transmitted to and processed by these providers solely to fulfil the generation you request.

JustDance is an independent product and interface layer built around these third-party models; unless expressly stated, we are not affiliated with, or endorsed by, the underlying model providers. Your use of the generated output may also be subject to those providers' own terms.

We do not use your uploaded photos or videos for facial recognition, biometric identification, or to build or train our own models.

5. How We Share Information

We do not sell your personal information. We share information only in the following circumstances:

• Service providers who help us operate the Service, each limited to what they need for their function — including AI model and infrastructure providers (Section 4), cloud storage and hosting, payment and subscription processing, authentication, email delivery, and security and anti-abuse monitoring.
• Legal and safety — to comply with applicable law, valid legal requests, or to protect the rights, property, or safety of JustDance, our users, or the public.
• Business transfers — in connection with a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, subject to this Privacy Policy.

6. International Data Transfers

JustDance operates globally and works with providers located in different countries. In particular, generation content processed by our AI model providers may be transferred to and processed in jurisdictions outside your own, including the People's Republic of China. Where required by law, we rely on appropriate safeguards for such transfers. By using the Service, you understand that your content is processed as described in Section 4.

7. Data Retention

We retain information for as long as needed to provide the Service and for legitimate operational, security, support, and legal purposes:

• Account, billing, and generation history are retained while your account is active.
• Uploaded and generated media are stored so you can access them in your account. You can delete individual assets from your account at any time, and we will remove them from active storage.
• Billing and transaction records may be retained longer where required for tax, accounting, and legal-compliance purposes.

When you delete your account, we delete or de-identify your personal information, except where retention is required for security, fraud prevention, or legal compliance.

8. Data Security

We use appropriate technical and organizational measures — including encrypted connections and access controls — to protect your information against unauthorized access, alteration, disclosure, or destruction. However, no method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

9. Your Rights and Choices

Subject to applicable law (including the GDPR and CCPA/CPRA where relevant), you may request to:

• Access or receive a copy of your personal information;
• Correct inaccurate information;
• Delete eligible personal information;
• Export certain account information;
• Object to or restrict certain processing, and withdraw consent where processing is based on consent.

Some information may be retained where necessary for security, fraud prevention, tax, accounting, dispute resolution, or other legal-compliance purposes. Our legal bases for processing include performance of our contract with you, your consent, our legitimate interests in operating and securing the Service, and compliance with legal obligations.

10. Cookies and Similar Technologies

We use cookies and similar technologies to keep you signed in, maintain your session, remember your language preference, and protect against abuse. Essential cookies are required for the Service to function. You can control non-essential cookies through your browser settings, though disabling certain cookies may affect functionality.

11. Children's Privacy

The Service is not intended for children under 13 years of age, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them. If you upload photos or videos that feature a minor, you represent that you are the minor's parent or legal guardian, or that you otherwise have the necessary rights and consent to do so. If you believe a child has provided us personal information, please contact us and we will take appropriate steps to delete it.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we make material changes, we will update the "Last updated" date above and post the revised policy on this page. Your continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
