What Seedance 2 Currently Supports
These capabilities come from the current generator configuration. They help you choose an input and output specification without treating the model name as a quality guarantee.
Three input workflows
Supports Text to Video, Image to Video, and Video to Video for creating from scratch, animating an image, or transforming an existing clip.
Three duration options
Choose 4, 8, or 12 seconds. A longer duration does not guarantee a more consistent result; choose based on pacing and displayed credit cost.
Seven aspect-ratio options
Supports 16:9, 4:3, 1:1, 3:4, 9:16, 21:9, and adaptive output for different platforms.
480p and 720p output
The current options are 480p and 720p. Compare another available model when the task requires 1080p.
How to Get Better Seedance 2 Results
Small input choices matter. Use clearer subjects and simpler motion prompts before increasing style complexity.
Check Subject Visibility for Image to Video
Use an image with a clear subject, visible body structure, and a simple background. The model cannot reliably recover areas that are cropped or heavily occluded.
Start Text to Video with One Primary Motion
Define the subject, one concrete action, and one camera requirement before adding setting and light. People, scene changes, and strong camera motion together increase consistency risk.
Fix Source Problems Before Video to Video
Blur, overexposure, occlusion, captions, and handheld shake may remain or become stronger. Style transformation is not video restoration.
Hold Other Variables Fixed When Comparing
Keep prompt, source media, duration, aspect ratio, and resolution unchanged and modify one condition at a time so the difference is interpretable.
